Award winning, London-born artist, Chris Blake came to Australia as a teenager. For a number of years, he worked as a roustabout on cattle stations in west Queensland and his new-found love of the outback has sustained him in his art today. He has had an interesting life working in a variety of jobs from railway fettler, heating installer, welder, boat builder, owner home builder, musician and gigolo. Diane Rappisi is an American contemporary realist painter whose work fuses the light and chroma of the Impressionist colorists with the form and structure of the traditional Italian and French academies.
